Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater on scuba gear? It's even easier than you would think. Join us to find out how much fun it is.

The Awesome Scuba Try Dive will allows you have a go at scuba diving to see if you like it before signing up for your PADI certification.

The experienced Instructors at Awesome Scuba will be there to guide you through taking your first breath underwater. After a few minutes of awestruck wonder, most participants realize how easy scuba diving really is.

Try Scuba Course Content

During a Try Dive session you will learn:

• What wearing scuba equipment feels like and how easy it is to move around underwater while wearing it.
• What it’s like to breathe underwater and find out if you are comfortable in this new environment.
• Some basic skills and safety rules that will carry over to your full scuba certification course when you take the next step.

Try Diving Course Content

To do this course you need both:

• to be at least 8 years old
• read and sign our liability release form
• and answer no to the all the questions on the medical form.

When can I Try Scuba?

5:30-7:30pm Monday evening's at the ASB Aquatic Centre, Nelson. Bookings essential.

No hidden costs - free use of scuba equipment during Try Dive.

Arrive and Dive

All equipment and learning materials will be provided by Awesome Scuba so all you will need to do is turn up at ASB Aquatic Centre with your togs and towel, and Awesome Scuba's Experienced Instructors will do the rest.

Book and pay for the Try Dive online or book in advance at the ASB Aquatic Centre.

You need purchase a normal pool entry (up to $7.20) then wait in the foyer our instructor will be there to meet you.
